7-year Wedding Anniversary

September 17, 2011, marked seven years of marriage for Dan and me.  We celebrated the day with a family bike ride to Angry Catfish where they were brewing Kenya--our favorite--by the cup.  Mmm!  We brought along chocolate chip cookies to munch with the brew.  Bjorn ate a cookie, too, to go along with his sips of coffee.  We also went to the Minnehaha Garage Sale, which has become part of our anniversary traditions.  We've gotten some cool things at the sale, including a really good suit, a popcorn popper for roasting coffee, and an old copper kettle.  This year, we just looked.  The evening was filled with an amazing 15-course dinner at one of our favorites--Corner Table.  Mar-mar babysat Bjorn, her favorite little man.  Our dinner:

G'mama & Bjorn

Bjorn loves visiting G'mama at her condo in Bloomington.  Highlights of his visit to G'mama's are looking at the water fountain, walking the halls, riding the elevator, playing the piano, and playing with all her toys.  G'mama has lots of fun things to look at and touch and lots of the just-look-but-don't-touch items.  :-)  Because of that, Bjorn is a very good listener.  I love seeing the two of them together.  G'mama says he's the sweetest baby--ever--and that he has the cutest nose!  I think so, too.

One more thing that Bjorn does is sit on the rock to ride the pony.  "Giddy-up, Giddy-up, ride'em pony!"
